The challenge
Ray White IBA knew they were the top agency by sales volume in inner Brisbane — but they couldn't prove it. Data was scattered across multiple platforms, making it painfully difficult to compile reports for prospective clients.
Every pitch required hours of manual data aggregation, and the results still didn't look convincing. The team needed a way to turn raw market data into polished, shareable reports that told a clear story — without spending half a day building each one.
The data itself was messy: different formats from different sources, inconsistent naming conventions, and no centralised place to pull it all together. On top of that, there was no way to track whether the reports they painstakingly created were actually being read.
The approach
I built Trendrova — a full-stack analytics platform that automatically aggregates real estate sales data from multiple sources, normalises it, and presents it through clean, interactive dashboards.
The platform features 14 specialised chart components for real estate data visualisation, interactive mapping with suburb boundaries, and a report generation system that produces polished, branded market reports in minutes instead of hours.
Under the hood, an Apify-powered scraping pipeline keeps data fresh with automated daily updates. Drizzle ORM handles the complex relationships between buildings, sales, agents, and agencies, while React Query ensures the data-heavy dashboards load progressively without locking up the UI.
Every report is tracked — when it's opened, how long it's read, whether it's forwarded — giving the team clear visibility into what's resonating with prospective clients.
